Diyarbakir is my favorite city in Eastern Turkey. The people are incredible, and the walls are the longest beside the Great Wall of China. I can't wait to go back. It is the capital for the Kurdish people. We went to a soccer game there as well--very exciting! But I was the only female there. This is a very traditional place. Date posted: January 2010
