Jorge Sanchez (Spain):
During March 2014 I travelled by bus from the Aosta Valley (in Italy) to the Lake Annecy (in France). Since there is no train service between these two places I had to take buses, the first one to Courmayeur (still in Aosta Valley) and after two hours waiting (time that I employed in visiting the church and the village in general) to Chamonix-Mont-Blanc through the tunnel. Then, several hours later, I could finally catch a train to Annecy, where I arrived late in the afternoon.
The most remarkable of those two bus trips, without doubt, was the sighting of the peak Mont Blanc, the highest in Western Europe (4810 meters). In Courmayeur and Chamonix was very cold, snowing all the time; there were many tourists practicing sky and other mountains sports, but I really enjoyed the journey.
