Kyle Magnuson (United States of America):
One of the most beautiful mountains in Korea. Soraksan is notable for its rugged peaks, numerous waterfalls, and huge granite boulders. The park also has some fascinating Buddhist temples. Its a very popular attraction for Koreans, and is therefore often busy, particularly at the entrance area. Neverthless, Korean people are in general very friendly to foreigners and don't be suprised if you get invited to share some Kimchi and possibly some Soju with some fellow backpackers.
