Tomioka Silk Mill is now aiming at to be included in the tentative list of Japan.
http://www.pref.gunma.jp/seisaku/tomioka/english.htm
That is a symbol of the Meiji Restoration which is of importance to the modernization which was accomplished in the late 19th century just in Japan among Asian countries without being colonized.
Imported into Europe when silkworms were almost dead, filature silk of Tomioka were welcome to them with surprising at their quality.
Filature itself is a complex with mills, worker's houses, administrative block and other facilities, and built with western style and Japanese traditional method of construction.
Traditional sericultural houses and natural rock shelters,in which the farmers fed silkworms, were interspersed in the surrounding area.
So that I think it could be on the WHL under the criterion (3)and(4),because Tomioka Filature, which is well preserved and only one with all major facilities intact,is a symbol of the significant stage of the Asian radical modernization by adopting western technology of architecture, factory system, productive order and so on.

Rock Art of the Mediterranean Basin
Sazanami Japan - 18-Mar-06
I visited to Cuevas de la Ananas, which is located in the clad-forest valley, over three mountains and four villages. Those rock-paintings are of cultural importance to be suggested the style of the human life there. All rock-paintings are prohibited to be entered in where those were described;rock shelters, walls, and so on.But I asked the authority,in this case the city hall,to inroduce the shelters. Nowadays there are nearly 5000 visitors to the rock art and whose villas are interspersed in the basin,I heared. These are worth visiting because of the concentration and the diversity of prehistoric rock art,if you are interested in the art,and world heritage collector

Churches of Peace are great artistic achievement with Catholic-like innner decorations, even though Protestants'.
The magnificient atmosphere is covering these wooden architecture and are welcome for the visitors kindly.
When I went there, both churches were closed but, caretakers of each churches unlocked it for me and I could see inside.
I recommend this world heritage site strongly,if someone is about to travel in Poland.

This park may be an important place for modern park design, but when I've researched it before the registration in the WHL,I couldn't get informed at all exept location.
On my trip to the park I got the train through night to Zary from Katovice in Poland and transfered to the bus to the town on which the park located.
All buildings seem to be restored, but not impressive.Almost main architecture are in the German side. Its important thing isn't architecture, but gardens, which I recommend it all seasons. One of the best excursion site from Dresden if you're looking for some interest place.

Sazanami Japan - 14-Feb-06
Derwent valley is the cradle of factory system which made not only a productive order, but found the worker's quarter based on the humanitarianism.
I've been to some mills,North mill of Belper was most impressive for me.Almost all mills are now used as museum, restaurant and youth hostel and located on the magnificient gorge. And formerly Sir Richard Arkwrit's castle, which is located on the hill near his mills,is now a inexpensive hotel.
