I love exploring everything around me - thus, it is not surprising I am a scientist. The important aspect of doing good science is to travel...

All in all, I am traveling quite a lot, mostly around Europe. Since I like bustling cities and quiet historical towns as well as nature, the list of my visited sites is diverse.

My most impressive site: Prague, Assisi, Bauhaus, Primeval beech forests

My proposal for a new site: Ještěd transmitter, Lecce, Burren landscape, Sligo megalithic landscape, Carnac megalithic landscape, Tainan temples in Taiwan

Regensburg

Regensburg is evaluated lukewarmly in our community. Maybe Regensburg really is a collection of monuments without OUV, but it belongs to few well-preserved German towns after WWII destruction. Well, I …

Nuragic monuments of Sardinia

The addition of the Nuragic monumets of Sardinia with 31 components to the TWHS list of Italy in November 2021 was no surprise. It can be taken as an extension …
