I just love traveling and try to travel as often as I can, no matter if to distant countries or places just around the corner.
While I usually won't do a trip just to see a certain WHS, I will stop there for sure if there are any sites in the area I'm visiting. One reason I like it so much is because that way I have seen some fascinating places I would otherwise have missed because they are not that famous or that prominent in the guidebooks.

My most impressive site: Uluru, Tasmanian Wilderness, Edinburgh, Durham Cathedral, Neolithic Orkney, Plantin-Moretus Museum, Vat Phou

My proposal for a new site: Western Stone Forts, Chiang Mai

Well, what else is there to say about this WHS? It is so famous, so well-known. One of the most recognizable buildings in the world for sure, and definitely one …

This is was the first time I consciously visited a WHS site. I had never really thought about the concept of WHS, but walking around in the forest at Kuranda …
