Brahmaputra Basin

“The Brahmaputra River is known by four main, plus many “local”, names as it flows through its different countries: Yarlung Tsangpo in China/Tibet, Siang as it enters the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh, Brahmaputra in the Assam Valley of India and the Jamuna in Bangladesh.”

Moidams The entire area is within the Brahmaputra Valley. The Charaideo Moidams are located relatively close to the Disang River which flows into the Brahmaputra.
