WHS inscribed solely on Criterion VI
The current UNESCO Operational Guidelines state that "The Committee considers that this criterion should preferably be used in conjunction with other criteria". This requirement was first introduced in the 1980 revision of the guidelines when the exact words were "the Committee considered that this criterion should justify inclusion in the List only in exceptional circumstances or in conjunction with other criteria". It was changed to the current wording in the Feb 2005 revision.

Suggestions?
Do you know of another WHS we could connect to WHS inscribed solely on Criterion VI?
A connection should:
- Not be "self evident"
- Link at least 3 different sites
- Not duplicate or merely subdivide the "Category" assignment already identified on this site.
- Add some knowledge or insight (whether significant or trivial!) about WHS for the users of this site
- Be explained, with reference to a source
