Grenada accepted the UNESCO World Heritage Convention on 13 August 1998, making its cultural and natural heritage eligible for global recognition.

Although no sites have yet been inscribed on the World Heritage List, Grenada’s tentative nominations include cultural sites, such as the St. George’s Historic District and Fortified System, and mixed cultural–natural landscapes like the Grenadines Island Group.
