Manono, Apolima and Nuulopa Cultural Landscape by Shandos Cleaver
Samoa accepted the UNESCO World Heritage Convention on March 28, 2001.
It does not currently have any inscribed World Heritage sites, but its Tentative List includes both natural and cultural properties. Common themes among nominations include volcanic landscapes, traditional land-use systems, and sites of cultural significance to Samoan identity and oral traditions.
