The Solomon Islands accepted the UNESCO World Heritage Convention on June 10, 1992. It currently has one natural site inscribed—East Rennell—which highlights the island’s unique biodiversity and intact tropical forest ecosystem.
The country’s Tentative List features additional natural and cultural properties, including marine and rainforest environments.
