Divnogorye
Divnogorye is an archaeological site and a center of Orthodox pilgrimage. It is located on a limestone plateau. The Paleolithic site shows evidence of horse hunting. At the 9th-10th century Mayatskoye hillfort, over 400 runic drawings have been found. Its complex of 18th-19th century cave temples, hewn in the chalky rocks, follows the tradition of early Christian holy hermits.
