Hochosterwitz Castle
Hochosterwitz Castle has been part of the Tentative list of Austria.
The Hochosterwitz Castle is a medieval fortress on the top of a dolomite rock towering over the surrounding plain. The specific feature are the 14 fortified gates along the winding access to the central castle.
