Geoglyphs of Acre
The Geoglyphs of Acre are over 400 earthen structures created by Amazonian indigenous peoples. They weren’t widely known until the year 2000. The geometric patterns were probably used as ritual spaces. It took large scale transformations of the landscape without use of metal tools to create them.
