Parc naturel de Talassemtane is part of the Tentative list of Morocco in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
The Natural Park Talassemtane comprises a Mediterranean forest ecosystem in the Rif region. It is rich in endemic plant species such as the Moroccan fir and the endangered Atlas cedar. Bearded vultures also live in the park.
