Visited March 2014. Located some 12 km form Bolgatanga, easy accessible by public transport (From Bolga bus station there are small buses to Tongo village where from it is easy 5 km walk towards Tenzug village, occasional lift possible, motorbikes are quite frequent).

While you approach Tenzug there is an official tourist booth (sometimes it is closed) where you can buy official ticket (15 CD, around 4,2 USD). If it empty go on your own to the village, the most likely you will be met by local guide (unofficial price starts from 20 CD, but insist on visitng not only chief's palace, the village but also a sacred shrine - cave in the mountain that can be visited on if you are naked - topless).

Whole trip starts in the village (nice view from the third floor of chief's palace than you proceed to graves of former chiefs and sacrificial altars (the villagers are animists) and finish in the most sacred grotto (this one can be visited topless and barefeet only).

The site is interesting althogh comparing to Koutammakou in Togo is less spectacular but anyway worth visiting. Including transportation it requires full day (start in the morning as transport Bolga-Tongo-Bolga is infrequent).
