Petroglyphs of Sikachi-Alyan
Petroglyphs of Sikachi-Alyan is part of the Tentative list of Russia in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
The Petroglyphs of Sikachi-Alyan are located on basalt rocks on the Amur river bank. Some 160 petroglyphs can still be seen, they represent drawings of masks, animals, birds, snakes, boats, holes and pits, and concentric circles. The oldest are dated to 12000 - 9000 BC.
