Mili Atoll Nature Conservancy (and Nadrikdrik) is part of the Tentative list of Marshall Islands in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
Mili Atoll Nature Conservancy (and Nadrikdrik) protect some of the richest and healthiest coral reef systems in the world. Mili and Nadrikdrik Atolls contain spectacular corals, including gorgonian sea fans and soft corals, and a marine environment with large populations of sharks, whales, and dolphins. The terrestrial and littoral regions of the atoll include mangroves and fresh surface water, and support significant bird rookeries.
