Les vestiges du train de Zinga
Les vestiges du train de Zinga is part of the Tentative list of Central African Republic in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
The remains of the Zinga train comprise a 6km long railway track from the colonial 1920’s. It was built to solve a hurdle in the river transport system: goods and passengers got off the big steamers below the threshold and boarded smaller ones upstream. The tracks have since disappeared, the warehouses and some of the rolling stock remain.
