La Reserve Naturelle Nationale de l'Air et du Ténére
La Reserve Naturelle Nationale de l'Air et du Ténére is part of the Tentative list of Niger in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List. It is a proposed extension of Air and Téneré WHS.
This proposal is to extend Aïr and Ténéré with cultural criteria and turn in into a mixed WHS. It comprises prehistoric rock paintings and evidence from the invention of ceramics, manufacture of copper and iron metallurgy.
