Parc archeologique d'Ahouakro
Parc archeologique d'Ahouakro is part of the Tentative list of Côte d'Ivoire in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
Ahouakro is an archaeological site composed of geological formations of large size and various shapes resulting from erosion processes. Many of these megaliths have spiritual significance for the local population. The archaeological park includes other traces of vanished civilisations, such as polishing workshops, traces of tool sharpening, grooved monuments with artistic decoration and rocks with decorative walls from the Neolithic period.
