Plantations à Parfums
Paysage Culturel des Plantations à Parfums des Iles de la Lune is part of the Tentative list of Comoros in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
The cultural landscape of the Perfume Plantations of the Islands of the Moon represents a living and evolving tradition. Established by the French colonists, the cultivation of perfume plants in the Comoros Archipelago, and particularly Anjouan, is closely linked to the growth of the perfume industry in France.
