Le rugo traditionnel du Mugamba
Le rugo traditionnel du Mugamba is part of the Tentative list of Burundi in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
The traditional rugo of Mugamba are units of family dwellings surrounded by a fence of bamboo. The houses are built by men and decorated by women. They are located in a hilly area and the type of house has retained its traditional characteristics.
