Andijon
Andijon is part of the Tentative list of Uzbekistan in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
Andijon (also included in the serial nomination “Silk Roads Sites in Uzbekistan”) is a city in the Ferghana valley, that has been developing for 25 centuries, with many structures attesting of that long history (fortresses, palaces, residential buildings, funeral and memorial complexes, mosques, madrassas).
