Khazarasp
Khazarasp is part of the Tentative list of Uzbekistan in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
Khazarasp (also included in the serial nomination “Silk Roads Sites in Uzbekistan”) are the remain of a settlement, the main advanced post of Khorezm state and an important trading center in the medieval times. Only some towers and fortification walls remain from its destruction by Mongol invasion.
