Le Tata de Sikasso
Le Tata de Sikasso is part of the Tentative list of Mali in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
The Tata de Sikasso comprises the remains of a late 19th century royal palace-fortress. It consists of 3 concentric enclosures, the outermost being 9km in length. It was made of dry stone, gravel and mud. The royal family lived in the innermost circle.
