Bashkir Ural
Bashkir Ural is part of the Tentative list of Russia in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
Bashkir Ural is a mountain forest area which includes the Shulgan-Tash Cave with its rock drawings. The landscape is characterized by deep river valleys and steep cliffs. The Shulgan-Tash (Kapova) cave holds coloured Upper Paleolithic rock carvings (mostly images of animals).
