Umm Al-Rihan forest
Umm Al-Rihan forest is part of the Tentative list of Palestine in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
Umm Al-Rihan is a densely forested area in the northwest of the West Bank. It is one of the last Mediterranean forests in the Middle East and an important resting place and nesting site for breeding and migratory birds. Among these are endangered species such as the white stork and the European honey buzzard.
