Wadi Gaza Coastal Wetlands
Wadi Gaza Coastal Wetlands is part of the Tentative list of Palestine in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
Wadi Gaza is considered one of the most important coastal wetlands ecosystems in the Eastern Mediterranean Basin, due to its rich biodiversity of flora and fauna. It is also a resting place for migratory birds. The most common endemic bird is the Palestinian sunbird.

Wadi Gaza is located in the middle area of Gaza strip , the length of the wadi is around 8 kilometers extends from the west to east . the wadi is an interesting area for wildlife and biodiversity me have made several tours in the wadi and till this moment I have recorded , documented , and photographed around 100 bird species , 160 flora species , and 5 reptiles .I am still in my way to document the biodiversity features in the wad . you may see my photos taken by me (Ayman dardona ) named in the facebook Ayman w ayman .
