The La Soufrière National Park
The La Soufrière National Park is part of the Tentative list of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
The La Soufrière National Park is a mixed site, comprising an active volcano (plus other natural features) and the Lasham Sugar Factory Ruins. La Soufrière is the only stratovolcano in the Eastern Caribbean and has an unique style of eruption. Archaeological sites in the area (pottery, petroglyphs, sugar factory) were partly buried after eruptions.
