Failaka Island

Sa'ad and Sae'ed Area in Failaka Island is part of the Tentative list of Kuwait in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

The proposed site comprises six archaeological sites and an early 20th century rest house on the small Failaka Island in the Persian Gulf. The findings date from both the Bronze Age (the Dilmun civilization) and the Hellenistic period. Babylonians and Byzantines also left their marks on the island.
