Ancient City of Korykos

Ancient City of Korykos is part of the Tentative list of Turkiye in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

The Ancient City of Korykos was host to the Hittites, Persians, Greeks, Roman and Byzantine Empires and the Armenian Kingdom. It is notable for its Christian churches with Egyptian influences. The nearby Adamkayalar reliefs show carved figures from the Roma period in 9 niches.
