The Rock Painting of Shulgan-Tash Cave (also known as Kapova Cave) cover 195 red ochre paintings in the long cave’s halls. They date from the Late Paleolithic era (up to 36,400 years ago). Geometric motifs, animals and humans are depicted. Shulgan-Tash Cave is also seen as a cult sanctuary and legends from the ancient Bashkorts are attached to it.
