Le Lamidat de Rey-Bouba
Le Lamidat de Rey-Bouba is part of the Tentative list of Cameroon in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
The palace of Rey Bouba, constructed between 1805 and 1808, is a still living testimony of the lamidat or sultanate of Rey Bouba. It covers about 5 hectares and is surrounded by a 7 metres high wall. The palace shows the traditional local artisanry and the exchange of know-how between peoples.
