Abu Dhabi Sabkha is part of the Tentative list of United Arab Emirates in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

Abu Dhabi Sabkha is a coastal, supratidal sandflat that has formed over 7,000 years. Evaporation leads to the deposit of minerals, salts and gypsum on the surface. It covers a 16km long coastal stretch.
