The Jordanian ḥarrah
The Jordanian ḥarrah is part of the Tentative list of Jordan in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
The Jordanian ḥarrah comprises early inscriptions and rock art in a basalt desert setting. The inscriptions came from early nomads, who passed through here since the 1st century BC. Writings from later Nabataean, Palmarian, Greek, and early Islamic periods also have been found.
