Hobyo grass and Shrubland
The Hobyo grass and Shrubland is part of the Tentative list of Somalia in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
The Hobyo grass and Shrubland comprises a stretch of dune fields covered in grass and shrubs. The area is rich in plant species. Wildlife includes typical Horn of Africa species such as Gerenuk (an antelope) and Dibatag (a gazelle).
