European Paper Mills (from the era of hand-made paper) (Spain) is part of the Tentative list of Spain in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

The Capellades Paper Mill ("MolĂ­ de la Vila") dates back to 1748. It lies in a favourable location due to the abundance of water. The mills in this area were the most important paper-production centres in (colonial) Spain in the18th and 19th centuries. The mill now houses a Papermaking Museum.
