Zomin Mountains

Zomin Mountains is part of the Tentative list of Uzbekistan in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

Zomin Mountains is a unique mountain-juniper pines ecosystem, in the northern slopes of the Turkistan range. It consists of both the National Park and the adjacent State Park. Altitude ranges from 1760 to 4025 meters. It protects various species of flora and animals (ibex, wolf, lynx, bear and eagle). Within the limits is the Uryuklisai Gorge and the park's famous attraction the Sharilak waterfall.
