Mudumal Megalithic Menhirs

Mudumal Megalithic Menhirs is part of the Tentative list of India in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
The Mudumal Megalithic Menhirs are upright stones that align with celestial events. They are ca. 3500 to 4000 years old. The area also includes other prehistoric remains, such as cup marks carved into the rock and burial sites.
