Juan Fernandez Archipielago National Park is part of the Tentative list of Chile in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

The Juan Fernández Archipelago National Park covers 95% of the land mass of the oceanic volcanic islands Robinson Crusoe, Alejandro Selkirk and Santa Clara. The park has few flora and fauna species but with a high level of endemism. Many plants are characteristic of the Antarctic flora, and are related to plants found in southern South America, New Zealand and Australia.
