Kibiro
Kibiro (Salt producing village) is part of the Tentative list of Uganda in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
Kibiro is a village along Lake Albert that has been producing salt for up to 900 years. The salt is derived from salty soil. The production is done by women only.
