Nyero Rockpaintings
Nyero Rockpaintings is part of the Tentative list of Uganda in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
Nyero is a rock art site in eastern Uganda. It dates from the Later Iron Age (before 1250 AD). The rock paintings are largely geometric in nature and depicted in red pigment. They have been discovered in 6 rock shelters.
