Forest and Aka pygmy residential camps
The Mongoumba Forest and the pygmy forest and residential camps show the knowledge and skill of the Aka Pygmies of the Central African Republic.
They built temporary camps for use during hunting and fixed camps in the middle of the forest. The latter, of which 18 have been selected, have 30 to 90 inhabitants on average.
