Parc national des Plateaux Batéké
Parc national des Plateaux Batéké is a national park of grassy and shrubby savannahs, interspersed with rainforests, with rugged terrain and numerous rivers. It contains fossil dunes of eolian and fluvio-lacustrine origin representing a geological process that was active 20-30 million years ago. The park is home to a homogeneous Teke population that has demonstrated strong metallurgical activity for over two thousand years.
