Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, Srirangam

It is the largest functioning Hindu temple in the world: with 81 shrines, 21 towers, 39 pavilions, and many water tanks. There are over 800 inscriptions in various Indian languages. The temple has represented Tamil culture since the 1st century.
