The list is compiled by our community at the Forum topic WHC 2027. It is based on news articles and other intelligence. Only in May 2026 will UNESCO publicize the official list of candidates that have submitted a valid nomination for 2027.

Additional nominations can come from sites that have been Referred in the past 3 years. Also, State Parties can decide to withdraw candidates before evaluation or discussion.
